You guys! I have been really bad at life and haven’t blogged for over a week. We have had a lot going on here and today is the first day I feel like I’m not on the verge of a breakdown, so hopefully that’s a good sign.
A few weeks ago I asked my 12 year old to find a baking recipe on Pinterest that she wants to try and send it to me so we could make it. Ya’ll. My daughter send me the link for Slutty Brownie Cupcakes.
The first thing I said was “UH, that’s not appropriate.” So we decided to call them Inappropriate Brownies instead. Even though the name is a little risque they are delicious and sure to ruin anyones diet.
- 1 package of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 12 oreo sandwich cookies
- 1 box of brownie mix (and ingredients listed on box)
- 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 350. Line a cupcake tin with paper cupcake cups. (standard 12 cup pan)
Roll out 12 tablespoon sized pieces of cookie dough and press one into each paper cup.
Add one oreo to each muffin cup on top of the cookie dough.
Prepare the brownie mix according to box.
Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of brownie batter on top of each oreo making sure it’s completely covered and 1/8 inch below the top of the cup.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Test the middle to make sure it’s done with a cake tester.
While baking, microwave the cream for 30-40 seconds until hot and whisk in the chocolate chips.
Remove cupcakes from over and set out to cool. Use a spoon to spread icing on each cupcake. Enjoy!
The video I linked with the original recipe has a video if you need any help! These were oh so good and definitely an easy recipe to make with kids!
